Reachdesk appoints Waleed Al-Atraqchi as new CEO

20 April 23

We’re delighted to announce that Waleed Al-Atraqchi has been appointed as CEO of Reachdesk.

Following three years as CEO of Yieldify, Waleed will bring his passion for marketing technology and developing high-performance organizations to Reachdesk, the world’s #1 global gifting and direct mail platform.

We’re incredibly grateful to Waleed’s predecessor, Temy Mancusi-Ungaro. Since his appointment in May 2021, Temy quickly racked up countless achievements and milestones for Reachdesk – perhaps most notably, leading the company through a Series B fundraising round, ultimately securing $43 million.

Temy’s additional achievements include driving four times as much business in 2021 following a record-high of 600% year-on-year growth, as well as establishing Reachdesk as a G2 leader and one of the fastest-growing software products in an industry worth $235 billion in the US and UK.

Reflecting on his time at Reachdesk, Temy says: “I am filled with immense pride and a deep sense of accomplishment. We’ve not only weathered the storms of the industry but emerged as a leader in our space.”

Temy is excited to see all the “incredible things” that Waleed and the leadership team will achieve. He will work closely with Waleed to ensure a smooth transition that supports Reachdesk’s future growth and ambitions.

“An industry-leading company with massive growth potential”

Reachdesk Co-Founder & Chairman Jay Radia is excited to welcome Waleed Al-Atraqchi as our new CEO, noting his impressive track record of leadership and innovation in the tech industry. Jay is confident that Waleed will bring “fresh ideas and insights to take Reachdesk to new heights.”

Previously, Waleed led the growth and successful exits of four companies. At Yieldify, a pioneer in website personalization, he led the sale to Publicis Groupe. As President of CJ Affiliate, the world’s largest affiliate marketing network, he led the company’s business transformation and sale to Publicis Groupe.

As CEO of Affinnova, he built the company from a start-up to a global SaaS leader in marketing research, culminating in an acquisition by Nielsen Holdings. As President of Imagitas, the US leader in lifestage marketing, he oversaw the company’s hyper-revenue growth that resulted in an acquisition by Pitney Bowes.

Of his appointment as CEO of Reachdesk, Waleed says: “I’m thrilled to join an industry-leading company with massive growth potential, and to work with a successful serial entrepreneur and industry disruptor like Jay Radia again.”
